This Privacy Policy explains what End Zone, operated by Momentum Apps, LLC ("Momentum Apps," "we," "us"), collects, why, and what your options are. End Zone is built to need as little of your data as possible — most of the game works with nothing collected at all.
If you never create an account: nothing identifying you is stored on our servers, and you won't appear on any leaderboard. Your theme preference, in-progress daily challenge, and streak are kept only in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
If you create an account: your email and password are handled entirely by Google Firebase Authentication — we never receive, see, or store your password ourselves. On our own servers, we store your chosen display name (so a leaderboard doesn't have to show your email), your account's Firebase ID, whether you've purchased Premium and, if so, when (which sets your place in the public Premium Members list), your chosen banner and (Premium) name color, your current and best-ever daily-challenge streak, and whether your account qualifies as a founding member (and if so, when it was created, which sets your place in the public founding-members list). If you add another player to your Friends list, we store that player's display name against your account so your Friends screen can show their public stats; removing them removes it. If you create or join a Private League, we store that league's name, code, and its list of member display names.
If you post to a leaderboard: posting requires an account, and always uses that account's display name — there's no separate name to enter. We store the name you posted under, your score, and the specific roster picks that produced it, which we use server-side to verify the score is legitimate before it's ever shown to anyone. Your streak count and founding-member status, if applicable, are shown next to your name on any board you appear on. Your IP address is briefly used to limit how many scores can be submitted from one place per day, and is automatically deleted by a daily cleanup job once it's no longer needed for that.
If you purchase Premium: payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own hosted checkout page. We never receive or store your card number. We only receive confirmation that a purchase succeeded, which we record as a one-time flag on your account along with the date, so the purchase gets a permanent, correctly ordered spot on the public Premium Members list.
End Zone uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, cookie-free tools that report aggregate traffic (like page views) and page performance (like load times) without collecting personal information or tracking you across other sites.
Free (non-Premium) use of End Zone includes ads, managed through Ezoic and the network of ad exchanges and demand partners it works with on our behalf. Ezoic and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure their performance, and personalize ads based on your browsing activity. Depending on your location, a consent prompt (provided by Ezoic's own consent management tool) appears before any ad-related cookie is set, so you can accept or limit what's used. We don't control what Ezoic's partners do with data once it leaves our site — see Ezoic's privacy policy for how they handle it, and the current list of ad-tech partners working with this site at g.ezoic.net/privacy/playendzone.com. We publish an ads.txt file, an industry-standard record of who's authorized to sell End Zone's ad space, so buyers can verify they're dealing with a legitimate seller rather than a spoofed one.
Premium accounts never see an ad rendered on the page, enforced independently of Ezoic's own scripts rather than relying on them alone. On rare occasions your browser may still briefly request an ad from Ezoic before your Premium status finishes confirming on a page load, but no ad ever actually displays for a Premium account.
Account and leaderboard data is used solely to run the features you're using: signing you in, verifying and displaying leaderboard scores, computing your streak and founding-member status server-side (so neither can be manipulated from the browser), and recording a Premium purchase. A founding member's display name and join date are shown on the public founding-members page, and a Premium member's display name and purchase date are similarly shown on the public Premium Members page, to anyone, signed in or not, since being able to see who's on those lists is the point of them. A Private League's name, code, and member list are visible to anyone who has or is given that code, but a league's own scores are never anything beyond what's already public on the regular leaderboards, just filtered down to that league's members. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties except the service providers necessary to run the Service — our hosting provider, Google Firebase for authentication, Stripe for payments, and our advertising partners for serving and measuring ads — who only receive what's needed to do their job.
Account and leaderboard data is kept for as long as your account exists. Rate-limiting data tied to your IP address is deleted by an automated daily cleanup job, usually within a day and always within two.
End Zone is not directed at children, and creating an account or purchasing Premium requires being at least 13 years old. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email support@momentumapps.net and we'll delete it.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
